Gilles Gourvat is back !
The announce on fall 2003 of the installation of Gilles Gourvat to the Chateau des Reynats and its restaurant l'Oison delighted all the Gourmets of Perigord and Aquitaine.

Indeed, this child of the land is well known here. He developed his skills with a special admiration for the creativity of Michel GUERARD (3 stars Michelin Guide, Eugénie les Bains), later with Jacques Cagnat (2 stars Michelin Guide, Paris). Then Gilles Gourvat became a "Chef".

Several Deluxe hotels entrusted him to run their "cuisine" : St Barthelemy in the West Indies, later in the French Alps. There, he remained, a couple of years, executive chef of the Altiport Restaurant in Meribel.

But with the Chateau des Reynats, this young experimented chef (40 in 2003) found the establishment and the team which suit him.

His knowledge of the region and his attraction for the local and noble products create a great combination with his creativity nourished with travels and flavours.

The amateurs find here the respect of the product in the Menu of the Day, as well in the seasonal "a la carte", or in the "Discovery Menu".

The cuisine of Gilles Gourvat does not leave nothing to chance : decoration of the dinning room, beauty of china and glassware, quality of the reception and service ; all is in harmony, so, each meal becomes a privileged moment.
